3D Scan
CG has two cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) machines. It is an advanced imaging technique that produces highly accurate three-dimensional (3D) reconstructions of the bony structures of the head and neck. In dentistry, this type of tomography is used for the detailed assessment of the teeth, the jaws, the mandible, the paranasal sinuses and the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
It is a key tool for planning dental implants, orthodontic studies and complex endodontic treatments, and for assessing bone conditions such as cysts or tumours and analysing impacted teeth. It allows surgical procedures to be carried out with a high degree of precision.
